Download the ProofProtect viewer

The viewer opens the protected galleries your photographer shares — with the same screenshot, screen-recording, and download protection built in. On Windows, Mac and Android it’s a quick install. On iPhone and iPad there’s nothing to download — your gallery link just works in the browser.

Desktop app

Windows & macOS

The locked-down desktop app for Windows and Mac. Galleries open in the viewer, so capture protection stays in place.

Download – v1.0.3

iPhone & iPad

No app needed

Galleries open natively in Safari — protection runs right in the browser. Just tap the link your photographer sent you in Safari.

Installing on Android

The viewer is a direct download rather than a Play Store app, so Android asks you to confirm the install once. Here’s what each prompt means and what to tap.

  1. Allow installs from your browser

Open the downloaded file. If Android says your browser isn’t allowed to install unknown apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back — the install carries on. You only do this once per browser.

  2. Samsung Galaxy: pause Auto Blocker

Samsung phones ship with Auto Blocker switched on, and it refuses app installs from any browser — you’ll see “Blocked by Auto Blocker” instead of an install button. Open Settings › Security and privacy › Auto Blocker (if you can’t see it, type “Auto Blocker” into the search bar at the top of Settings). Switch it off, install the viewer, then switch it back on — turning it back on doesn’t remove the app.

  3. Google Play Protect

Play Protect checks apps that don’t come from the Play Store. If it offers to scan the app, tap Scan, wait a moment, then Install. If it says the app was blocked, tap More details, then Install anyway.

  4. Check it’s the real thing, then sign in

The installer shows the app name ProofProtect and the package name com.guardedcontent.proofprotect, signed by GuardedContent Pty Ltd. Open ProofProtectand sign in with the email your gallery was sent to. Anything else claiming to be the viewer isn’t from us.

Updates install the same way — when the app (v1.0.6 today) asks you to update, step 2 applies again. Still stuck? Use the chat in the corner of this page, or email support@guardedcontent.com.

Protection stays on

The viewer keeps screenshots, screen recording, and downloads blocked — the same safeguards your photographer set up.

Quick to install

A small, signed installer. Open it, sign in with the email your gallery was sent to, and your gallery is ready.

Or skip it entirely

On iPhone and iPad there’s nothing to download at all — the browser handles everything securely.
